Civilize the nation's math to get the benefits can be obtained through innovation in school mathematics learning paths. The basic element of hermeneutic civilizing mathematics communicate mathematicalactivity in various dimension. This communication can be defined as various forms of vitality of potential relational between subject-subject, subject-object, object-subject or object-object.
The effort to study mathematics is students must to develop their procedure, for example follow the steps so they can get mathematics concept. Social interaction in mathematics learning is important to change subjective mathematics knowledge become objective mathematics knowledge. Teacher can help students to do it. Civilizing mathematics in school can begin with define math nature (Ebbutt, S and Straker A, 1995) such as mathematics activities are searching and relating, mathematics activities must be communicated, problem solving is a part of mathematics activities, algorithm is a procedure to solve mathematics problems, social interaction is needed in mathematics activity. Students need different chance, different treatment, and facilities in mathematics lesson because they are different. The role of teacher is to make conducive class, provide facilities, etc. Here, teacher as a manager. The role of teacher is as a facilitator, a learning source, and student monitoring. So teachers should use various methods such as lecture method, discussion method, workshop, etc

To be able to cultivate an understanding of the meaning of mathematics is needed mathematics in various dimensions. Dimensional mathematical meaning can be seen from the side dimensional mathematical objects to concrete objects and mathematical dimensions to the objects of mind. Mathematical communication includes communication materials, formal communication, normative communication and spiritual communication. In relation to learning mathematics then we are more suited to define mathematics as the mathematics school, but for college-level mathematics we define as formal mathematical or axiomatic. Mathematics can contribute to the civilizing nation of excellence through innovation on learning conducted on a continuous mathematical constantly. In relation to obtaining the benefits the nation then we can think of mathematics, learning mathematics and mathematics education at different hierarchy level or the level of intrinsic, extrinsic or systemic.
