PERSOALAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH

Many Mathematics teachers  implement traditional mathematics, it is learning mathematics with expository relying on a single method with explain, give example, ask question and give task in the classical style. It makes them have many difficulties like
1)serve various needs /demands of the students in learning mathematics,
2) encourage students to improve achievement of low achievers learning,
3) encourage students to learn actively,
4) use and develop mathematical props and
5) encourage students to learn through cooperation.
 In here writer opportunity to develop method above through acion research, refers to recomendation Cocroft Report (1982,243,p.198) which states that at every level of mathematics learning shoul be an vehicle for teacher to be able to realize the selection of one or several dynamic and flexible method like expositoin method, discussion method, exercise and granting method, discovery method,problem solving method and visual aids method.
Here is mathematical learning model development scheme as action to be taken in this action research:
Exposition- Exercise- Problem Solving à Exposition- Exercise- Problem Solving Discussion- investigation-visual aids
There are positive impact in development of mathematical models of learning to overcome the difficulties of teacher, but actually experience barriers both technical, academic an socio cultural.
1.      Develoing the Student Worksheet
2.      Development of methods class discussion
3.      Formation of study group
4.      Development of teaching aids and educational media
